Biographical history
Joel Chadabe (nacido en 1938) es un compositor, autor y reconocido pionero en el desarrollo de sistemas de música interactivas. Obtuvo una licenciatura de la Universidad de Carolina del Norte en Chapel Hill, y luego obtuvo su MM en Yale, mientras estudiaba con Elliott Carter. Diseñó el CEMS (Coordinado Estudio de Música Electrónica), construido por Robert Moog, en 1967. Fue el presidente de" Intelligent Music", una de las compañías que creo y distribuyo software y hardware para componer interactivamente 1983-1994. Fundó Electronic Music Foundation en 1994. Ganó el SEAMUS Lifetime Achievement Award en 2007.
